Last week Skullies was released on Vera Lane Studio . The project above is in my handmade cotton art journal. The background and each skullie is painted with Brea Reese glitter inks.
I just love these lil characters on the ATC I created for the Mixed Up Halloween Swap. I used Vera Lane Studio digistamps from the following sets: Skullies, Lil Tricksters, and Stella Luna. The background and sentiment are from Papercakes by Serena Bee. ATC is colored with Inktense pencils.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you will join us over on the Vera Lane Studio Facebook group.
Time for some Oddball Art Stamps Design Team Inspiration! The theme is Cemeteries! I chose to create a pocket letter for my first inspiration piece. I thought who better to have roaming a cemetery but Beetlejuice-the ghost with the most! I also used the Grave & Boneyard digistamp set.
I will share in an upcoming blog post just how I put these two digistamp sets together to make a one large image pocket letter. Brea Reese glitter and watercolor inks were used to paint this. Lots of custom mixing of the colors…they are amazing! Bat and spider puffy stickers were added to the pocket letter after the image was painted.
Come join in the challenge over on the Oddball Art Stamps Blog! We also have some new stuff going on in the Oddball Art Stamps Facebook group…Brand Ambassadors! Go check out all the fun we are having over there as well!
This pocket letter is heading out to one of my swap partners tomorrow!

I painted her with Brea Reese watercolor inks. The colors used are: ocean green, lake blue, violet, pink, neutral grey, gold glitter, medium magenta crimson and ultramarine blue.
For the image above in my art journal I wanted to give the feel of an asylum and yes Nurse Dee is way past her candy striper days but this is a nuthouse! Lol I’m thinking she may be a patient herself 😂 Brea Reese inks we’re used on the image above as well.
The ATCs above are a combination of a few VLS digistamp sets.
