The theme this month on Vera Lane Studio is royalty! My first project is a 4×6 piece graced by the queen herself, Morticia! She has to be one of my favorite characters! I wanted to be her when I was little! She’s so graceful and sexy!
- Morticia digistamp from VLS
- Dog digistamp from VLS
- Brea Reese Glitter Inks in Violet, black (pen), gold & ocean green
- Fluid hot press 4×6 cotton Watercolor paper
- Posca white paint pen
Up next is the Queen of Hearts! She’s so mean and evil and is obviously quite angry on this ATC.

Brea Reese Watercolor & Glitter Inks: crimson ink and glitter ink, gold and custom mix for skin tone
Brea Reese fine liner pen in Crimson
Posca white paint pen
I couldn’t leave Morty King of the Monsters out! I absolutely love this lil guy. He’s so versatile and can be paired with so many other sets from Vera Lane Studio!

These lil guys are trying to look tough but they are sooo freakin cute! They obviously can’t wait for Halloween either (just like me!)
You can pick the Lil Gangstas in the Vera Lane Studio Etsy shop
The first project I made with them was in my Mini Happy Planner.
My next lil piece is an ATC featuring the lil bad boy from Lil Gangstas.
Look at those shifty eyes and that gold tooth! Better watch out for this guy! He was painted with Brea Reese Glitter Inks and Watercolor Inks.
I truly had a ball with these lil guys! I’m sure you will see them pop up a lot more in my social media pages. Oh and don’t forget to come join in the fun over on the Vera Lane Studio Facebook Group. We have a monthly ATC swap going on. The theme is Royalty and is being hosted by Sharon Rogers. Be sure check out her page and come join us over on Vera Lane Studio. Until next time…

Le Petit Artiste
This week I decided to show a few projects I made in the past few months but haven’t shared publicly. The lil artist above I painted over a year ago. I decided to add her to a new background ATC I created using Brea Reese glitter inks in medium magenta, Violet and lake blue. I then loosely outlined with Brea Reese fine liner pens the blobs of ink to make flowers. It was a great way to use an older project:)
The altered index card above was sent out to a swap friend last month for her birthday. I also included a gift certificate for Vera Lane Studio. I love giving a gift that others can use to create!
Lil Morty from the Backyard Monsters set is one of my favorites! He’s so much fun to color and super easy to cut out! I felt the cake was the perfect hat for a birthday card.
Both Morty and the cake were painted using Brea Reese Watercolor and glitter inks. I used a wet brush on dried paint to get the spots/freckles on his face.
Also come join us over on the Vera Lane Studio Facebook group! Lots of fun! Swaps! And an all around great community!
